Establishment of Wampfler Türkiye İrtibat Bürosu office / direct presence in the Turkish market by expanding the local partner network / office manager Wolfgang Brehm

Weil am Rhein, July 2007. Wampfler AG, a Delachaux Group company and one of the leading manufacturers of systems for mobile energy supply and data transmission systems worldwide, has founded a new office in Turkey. Wampfler Türkiye İrtibat Bürosu, which is based in Istanbul, will expand the support to customers from the crane and heavy machinery, steel and aluminum production, automation, logistics, ship-building and vehicle production industries in Turkey. The new office is close to Istanbul-Atatürk airport and has excellent transportation access.

Wolfgang Brehm, Manager Customer Support at Wampfler AG, will manage the sales unit. Locally in Turkey, Gamze Erdogan, who is Manager Sales and Business Development, will become an important contact for setting up and expanding the local partner network. Gamze Erdogan is employed by Wampfler AG since May 2007 and has many years of experience in the tool machine industry.

Turkey is a future market with great potential growth for Wampfler AG. With the establishment of Wampfler Türkiye İrtibat Bürosu, the long established company from Weil am Rhein will be even closer to customers around the Bosporus. “Presence in the Turkish market gives our company additional competitive advantages,” emphasizes Stefan Ziegler, Chairman of the Wampfler AG Management Board.

Wampfler AG intends to set up a network with additional partners in the important economic areas of Turkey in order to guarantee perfect customer support – all the way from project planning, design and sales down to installations and on-site commissioning and services.
