The division encompasses a wide range of specialized manufacturing processes. In machining, precision components are produced on state-of-the-art CNC machining centers in accordance with the highest quality standards. In sheet metal fabrication, components are manufactured and further processed, while in the welding shop, individual parts are joined together to form robust and durable assemblies. Depending on the location, we cover large parts of the value chain ourselves. From metal and sheet metal fabrication to modern manufacturing technologies and the assembly of electronic modules, our teams work daily to combine quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Assembly

Components become functionality

In the assembly department at Conductix-Wampfler, individual components and subassemblies are combined to form fully functional products and systems. With technical expertise, precision craftsmanship, and a commitment to high quality, we ensure that these many individual parts are transformed into solutions that reliably serve a wide variety of applications worldwide.

The department covers a wide range of tasks. We assemble both mechanical components and complex mechatronic systems—from cable trolley systems to sophisticated power electronics for mobile control systems. Mechanical, electrical, and electronic components are professionally assembled, adjusted, and tested. The assembly process is complemented by comprehensive testing and quality assurance measures to ensure that every product meets our customers’ high standards.

This involves far more than simply putting components together. Assembly is a central component of our value chain and plays a decisive role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our products. In close collaboration with manufacturing, quality assurance, and other departments, processes are continuously improved and further developed.

Industrial Engineering

Design processes. Continuously optimize.

In the Industrial Engineering department at Conductix-Wampfler, we lay the groundwork for efficient, cost-effective, and forward-looking production. Here, we plan, analyze, and continuously refine production processes to ensure that our products are manufactured to the highest quality standards under optimal conditions. The department combines technical expertise with organizational acumen and plays a key role in maintaining the company’s competitiveness.

The scope of responsibilities is diverse, ranging from the planning and optimization of manufacturing and assembly processes to the design of workstations and the introduction of new technologies and production methods. Industrial Engineering supports the development of new products from a manufacturing perspective, analyzes existing processes, and identifies opportunities for improvement in terms of quality, productivity, ergonomics, and costs. In addition, production aids, fixtures, and in some cases custom manufacturing solutions are developed to sustainably support and further develop processes.

Is there any information about the evaluation process?

Since the aim is to secure long-term employment, the selection process is not an ad hoc decision. As a rule, there are two rounds of interviews. This ensures that applicants and their future department have exchanged all the information necessary for successful collaboration.
