From Idea to Prototype.

At Conductix-Wampfler, Research & Development is where tomorrow’s technologies take shape. We develop innovative solutions that make industrial applications more efficient, intelligent, and sustainable. From the initial idea and feasibility studies to functional prototypes and the handover to product development for series production, we lay the foundation for the next generation of products and solutions.

Our development activities span a broad range of technical disciplines. We create solutions for energy transfer, energy storage, charging systems, as well as control, automation, and data transmission technologies. By combining diverse technologies and areas of expertise, we develop high-performance system solutions that are used in demanding industrial applications around the world.

Our work goes far beyond developing new technologies. As a globally connected team, we support our international development sites in solving complex technical challenges, promote knowledge sharing across the organization, and help shape new methods, standards, and future-oriented initiatives—from modern engineering practices to the implementation of emerging regulatory requirements.

What makes this field especially rewarding is the combination of research, innovation, and real-world application. If you are passionate about developing new technologies, collaborating across disciplines and cultures, and turning ideas into working solutions, you will find a diverse and forward-looking environment where you can make a real impact.
