At Conductix-Wampfler, technical documentation is all about describing products and system solutions in a technically accurate, clearly structured, and user-friendly manner. As the link between product development, product management, and end users, the department ensures that important technical information is presented in an understandable way and that documents are available at all times.
The department covers various areas of responsibility. Technical writers create and maintain content in a modern component content management system (CCMS), working closely with the relevant departments. Individual content modules are combined to create information products such as operating and installation manuals, work instructions, or service documentation. In addition, the Technical Documentation department is responsible for maintaining terminology databases and editorial guidelines to ensure consistent, understandable, and high-quality technical language. Depending on requirements, this also includes translation management to ensure that information can be provided in multiple languages.
However, it is by no means just about writing texts. Modern digital formats are used to present technical concepts in a clear and easily understandable way. This includes, for example, the creation of illustrations, graphics, and animations based on 3D data. Through close collaboration with various departments, information solutions are developed that convey complex content in an accessible way and provide real added value for customers and end-users worldwide.

Is there any information about the evaluation process?
Since the aim is to secure long-term employment, the selection process is not an ad hoc decision. As a rule, there are two rounds of interviews. This ensures that applicants and their future department have exchanged all the information necessary for successful collaboration.
Is it possible to submit an initiative application?
Initiative applications are also welcome at any time. You are also welcome to make initial contact by telephone via the Human Resources department. We will then endeavor to provide you with initial feedback regarding the upcoming selection process.
